Through the frustration...falls a feather
I was in the middle of a very intense conversation with someone on Skype.
He was from another country and had a very strong accent. I struggled to understand him, and he struggled to understand me. Often, he asked me to type my answers into the chat box so he could follow along.
He kept asking question after question about the sale of my house in Thailand.
After a while, I felt my patience thinning. It seemed like he was just picking my brain, not truly intending to make an offer.
My frustration was mounting.
Then, out of nowhere, a tiny feather drifted down from above me.
I looked up just in time to catch it.
The moment felt oddly clear and quiet.
A gentle nudge.
A simple message: that’s enough.
So I ended the conversation with him.
And just like that, inner peace returned.
